We are looking for a legal entity controller for Jersey UK entity to join our accounting team in India. This is an amazing opportunity to work with UK US and Indian colleagues in accounting and controlling area. The team is consisting of 4 people and is reporting to the senior accounting manager.
About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
- Min 5 to 8 years working experiences in finance and accounting.
- Bachelor's degree in finance and accounting
- Should have working experiences with MNC
- Understand in business processes, compliances, and Internal Controls
- Has enough maturity and insights to deal the complexity and requirements.
- Extensive Use of Excel, PowerPoint, Net Suite and Onestream, Blackline, Oracle. (preferred), Workiva.
- Accounting knowledge under US GAAP/IFRS
- Financial Statements Preparation, Account reconciliation and its analysis and Audit
- P3 and P4 can apply (ratings achieved and above)

- Entity controller experience
- Managerial experience would be preferred
- Working experiences in MNC company
- Good with verbal and written communication in English
What will you be doing in this role?
- Controller of Jersey UK entity(ties) under scope raise early alerts on accounting and business concern.
- Ensure the month-end closure is in line with Clarivate’s global reporting timetable, review to ensure that critical accounts are reconciled to underlying documentation, that transactions are coded accurately in line with Clarivate’s and local / country accounting policies, Accountable for the financial information and the results that are reported to the organization on time.
- GL owner by direct JE entry posting and supervision of the reconciliations carried out by other members from central shared service teams,
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and policies in the balance sheets of the companies under its responsibility,
- Identify risks and calculate reserves, accruals and provisions, Balance sheet analysis and flux explanations,
- Work with 3rd Party providers for statutory and tax reporting, year-end submissions and other accounting areas,
- Support local transactional teams across the company in relation to local statutory audit and tax compliance.
About the Team
The team is consists of 4 people , all entity controllers and all are from India based. The team covers 15 entities . If you join, it will be total 5 people in the team. We work in a very collaborative environment, with flexibility on individual choice for place of work and time, our focus is more to get the deliverable as per prescribed timelines.

Timings -11:00 A.M.- 8:00 P.M.IST
