The Role and the Team
We are looking for a Senior Accounting Manager to join our fast-paced, high performing team. This individual will be an integral part of the accounting team in many areas. This role will report to the Director of Accounting and will be responsible for additional projects as needed by the upper management. The ideal candidate will have experience managing and leading groups within accounting. The candidate must have a strong working knowledge of US GAAP with experience in a wide range of GL functions, ERP system, SOX, etc. This is a great opportunity that will allow for career growth as the Company continues to expand!
Job Requirements:
- Oversee the general accounting functions, including but not limited to general ledger, account reconciliations, payroll accounting, fixed assets, & Inventory.
- Responsible for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close procedures, i.e., journal entries, account reconciliations
- Manage and guide the GL team to execute accounting processes and support their professional growth
- Review balance sheet and income statement fluctuation analysis on a monthly and quarterly basis for management and audit review
- Collaborate with the accounting team and cross functionally to enhance accounting procedures and systems
- Maintain a strong internal control environment, updating controls and processes as needed
- Manage the Fixed Assets and streamline the fixed asset process for efficiency and accuracy
- Collaborate with the extended finance team to ensure adherence to a timely close and reporting process, timely responses to internal/external audit requests and overall execution of team objectives.
- Involvement in special projects, system implementations, upgrades, integrations or process improvements, as needed.
- This role requires hands-on work in addition to reviewing the work of others.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- CPA is a plus
- Minimum of 10 years of general accounting experience in industry and/or a public accounting firm with a minimum of 5 years of management experience
- Strong Excel skills required
- Demonstrate excellent working knowledge of US GAAP
- Superior organization and verbal/communication skills
- Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical and prioritization skills
- Experience with ERP (MS Dynamics D365) and FloQast is a plus

Base Pay Range: 157,650.00 - 231,220.00 USD
California (excludes SF Bay Area), Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Washington DC Metro, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Texas, Washington, Virginia, and Alaska:
Base Pay Range: 129,000.00 - 189,200.00 USD
All other cities and states excluding those listed above:
Base Pay Range: 117,600.00 - 172,480.00 USD
