As the Manager, Accounting at Interwell Health, you'll take the lead in managing our monthly closing process and annual audits, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance. You'll play a critical role in preparing consolidated financial statements under IFRS and GAAP, overseeing general ledger activities, and monitoring balance sheet reconciliations. Additionally, you’ll contribute to key initiatives, such as our transition to the NetSuite ERP platform and managing stock-based compensation accounting. What You’ll Do

  • Monthly Close:
    • Manage monthly journal entries for consolidated IWH, ensuring timely completion.
    • Preparation of consolidated financial statements for IWH.
    • Maintain and track all month-end close activities and controls.
    • Monitor Blackline balance sheet reconciliation process and timeliness.
    • Maintenance of general ledger.
  • Audit Liaison:
    • Liaison for internal and external auditors
    • Prepare annual audited financial statements.
    • Ensure all audit requests are completed timely for both external and internal audit requests.
  • Enterprise Reporting Platform (General Ledger):
    • Key participant in initiative to transition to end-state ERP platform (Netsuite), maintain general ledger framework going forward.
    • Participate in the transition to the Netsuite platform.
    • Maintain general ledger access and mapping to Fresenius Medical Care.
    • Develop documented general ledger controls.
  • Stock-Based Compensation Reporting and Analysis:
    • Manage stock-based compensation accounting.
    • Leverage the Carta system for both GAAP and IFRS stock-based compensation accounting and reporting.
    • Maintain appropriate controls around the Carta system as well as stock-based compensation accounting.
  • Accounting Policy
    • Develop internal accounting policies and memos as needed.
    • Ensure reporting is in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) as well as Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other regulatory reporting.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on financial reporting, accounting policy and documentation of controls.
  • Proficiency in Excel and accounting software.
  • Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and regulations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with focus on continuous improvement
  • Experience and proficiency with SAP, NetSuite, or Blackline.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with ability to interact effectively with multiple stakeholders and leadership
  • Less than 10% travel — travel a few days per year for onsite meetings as needed.
