We have a tremendous opportunity for a Manager Accountant to play a key role on our Tax team. We have openings for candidates residing in and around Dallas, Texas. As a highly valued member of our Firm, you will work closely with the Tax team to provide timely, accurate, and reliable completion of client engagements. Responsibilities:- Prepare and/or review complex business and individual tax returns
- Develop effective working relationships with clients to provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance services
- Ability to identify and research tax issues, develop resolutions, and prepare written conclusions
- Assist with the developing, training and mentoring of staff and interns
- Recognize the opportunity to provide new and innovative services
- Willingness to learn new tax skills that the diverse client base at The Bonadio Group offers. Not limited to: public company tax services, banking and financial industry tax services, international, cross-border and expatriate compliance services, and transaction advisory services
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in accounting
- An active CPA certification
- A minimum of five years of tax experience in a public accounting firm or equivalent experience
- Ability and willingness to travel
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite with aptitude to learn firm technology, present and future
Hours of Operation:
- Our office hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday
- Our summer hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and (discretionary) from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Friday
- We pride ourselves on our flexibility; however, the ability to work additional hours will be needed at peak times
