Challenges You Will Solve

As Manager, Sales Development at Red Canary you will be responsible for training, mentoring, managing and growing a team of Account Development Representatives. You'll nurture this team to generate qualified meetings, owning the execution of pipeline goals. Develop new outreach strategies, tracking and understanding key trends and data points. You'll collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, Sales Enablement and Sales to help ADR team achieve quota.

What You'll Do

  • Hire, onboard and coach ADR Team to identify, contact, and create qualified opportunities
  • Manage team of 7 and hold ADRs accountable to KPI’s and results
  • Ensure ADR Team members improve performance and abilities over time by providing coaching and feedback in weekly recurring 1:1s and coaching sessions
  • Empower ADRs to exceed goals through coaching and incentives
  • Conduct weekly team meetings and operational reviews
  • Track and report ADR performance and productivity achievements with ADR Leadership
  • Ensure that individuals are efficiently and accurately qualifying and disqualifying inbound demand and managing to outbound prospecting with focus on Red Canary’s ICP
  • Plan for hiring and onboarding new ADRs 
  • Work closely with Sales and other members of the ADR Leadership team to improve opportunity management and qualification processes
  • Work closely with both ADR and Sales Leadership to help ADRs identify key company accounts to develop in each territory, support territory and account strategies
  • Work in collaboration with content, marketing program managers, and marketing event managers to develop effective messaging for outbound communications for marketing campaigns and their follow-up
  • Analyze SalesLoft cadences, and cadence strategy with an eye towards continual improvement and efficiency optimization
  • Communicate up regional & territory needs to ADR Leadership
  • Own assigned projects start to finish

What You'll Bring

  • 2+ years of ADR (SDR/BDR) Management experience
  • A strong passion for coaching and continuous improvement
  • A teamwork centered demeanor and approach to your work
  • A willingness to to think creatively 
  • Experience in hiring and working in a rapidly growing and changing environment
  • Proven track record of metric and goal attainment
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Experience using Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Linkedin SalesNavigator, and SalesLoft a plus
  • Direct experience in B2B and Cybersecurity a plus

Compensation range is $62,720- $105,000 base, plus commission for an estimated on-target earnings of $89,600 - $150,000 OTE.


This role is eligible for a grant of stock options, subject to the approval of the company's board of directors.
