Mandate: 

Reporting to the VP of TradeAid, the Manager, 4PL Program Operations is responsible for managing transportation services to optimize customer satisfaction and process efficiency. This role involves establishing client relationships and managing global transportation services across air, road, and sea freight. 

The Program Manager will act as the primary liaison between purchasing, implementation, and management teams, ensuring seamless processes from booking to payment. Additionally, the role includes presenting customized supply chain solutions to potential clients and contributing to the growth of a start-up/scale-up through industry relationship building. 


Other responsibilities: 

  • Manage all project-related documentation, including project plans, process flows, resource requirements, and business cases. 
  • Communicate project progress, facilitate meetings, and ensure deliverables are met, escalating issues when necessary. 
  • Lead change management with internal and external stakeholders, taking ownership of processes and confidently challenging where required. 
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related activities and requests. 
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with high-quality solutions. 
  • Provide solutions to enhance customer satisfaction and optimize international tools and processes. 
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, carriers, and customers. 
  • Anticipate and proactively address internal and external challenges. 
  • Transfer knowledge to relevant internal teams and offer support when needed. 
  • Leverage technical expertise to contribute to strategy and business results. 
  • Track and report on project financials, including budget vs. actual resource hours and billings. 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8- 10 years of relevant experience in Program Management, preferably related to Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Freight Forwarding, and/or SaaS/technology  
  • Bachelor’s Degree, MBA or related field is preferred   
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows-based applications

Skills Required
