Responsibilities
- Deliver reliable features by writing clean, unit-tested code that meets the "Definition of Done" and minimizes production bugs.
- Follow established architectural standards to ensure system longevity and contribute to the technical documentation required for 24/7 support.
- Design and build modular software components that are easy to integrate across different squads and simple for the Reliability (TRE) team to monitor.
- Coordinate integration testing to ensure that new solution designs are feasible within the existing ecosystem and ready for a smooth rollout.
- Collaborate with UX Specialists to build interfaces that are both visually "pixel-perfect" and technically high-performing.
- Continuously optimize the code to reduce latency and ensure that technical constraints never compromise the end-user experience.
- Identify "End of Life" (EOL) risks in legacy modules and coordinate with Product Owners to plan smooth transitions to newer technologies.
- Validate the technical feasibility of the product backlog, identifying potential "ripple effects" or integrations issues before development begins.
- dentify and resolve low-to-mid level technical debt to protect product health and prevent performance degradation over time.
- Work closely with the TRE team to ensure all features are documented for stability and can be recovered quickly in the event of a failure
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/ Computer Engineering or any related field
- At least 1 year of working experience in the Product Engineering field.
