Minimum Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in any field or equivalent.

Experience:

  • Minimum of three years related experience. Requires a working knowledge of specialized practices, equipment, and procedures.

Licenses/Certifications/Special Requirements:

  • May require proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Crystal Reporting, Cognos, Harris Northstar, iNovah, TaxMantra, FASTER, SQL, TRAK, Pneumercator, PeopleSoft, Hansen and Microsoft Word, dependent upon assignment.

PREFERRED/DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION(S):

  • Experience in a municipal or government setting.

  • Additional years of progressively responsible experience is preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field is preferred.

The City of Peoria has an exciting opportunity for a Management Analyst to join their Development and Engineering Department. This position will perform a variety of professional, analytical, and administrative duties in support of the City’s utility license and franchise agreements, intergovernmental agreements, and other contractual arrangements. Duties include, but are not limited to, maintaining agreement records, tracking agreement terms, obligations and key dates, coordinating with internal departments and external partners, compiling and maintaining records, conducting research, preparing reports, and performing project and policy analysis; and providing administrative and analytical support to other team members.

The ideal candidate for this position will have:

  • Experience with utility license and/or franchise agreements. 

  • Experience working with intergovernmental agreements and other contractual arrangements. 

  • Experience working collaboratively with outside parties, including other governmental agencies, consultants and third-party organizations. 

  • Experience tracking agreement obligations, milestones, compliance requirements, and renewal dates.

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills 

  • Excellent customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills

  • The ability to interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Access, and/or Permitting Software
