What's on offer?
We are currently seeking a Management Accountant to join our Finance Team - Infrastructure Services, based in Mile End, Adelaide. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will assist the business with the preparation of monthly and annual management reporting across multiple business streams including manufacturing, major projects and annuity maintenance services. In this role you'll be responsible for:

  • Annual budgeting, business planning and strategy reporting by actively working with key internal stakeholders
  • Preparation of monthly reporting financial packs, which includes month end processing, reconciliation and P&L variance analysis
  • Reporting and analysis of large scale projects involving the ability to strategically assess financial risks and control measures
  • Monthly P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow Forecasting
  • Implementation of business systems, processes and analysis reporting to optimise business performance
  • Ensuring compliance with internal process and statutory requirements.

How you'll connect to the role:

  • Relevant Tertiary Qualifications in an Accounting or Finance discipline, including CA/CPA (or equivalent) qualification (or currently working towards it)
  • Well-developed knowledge of finance activities within the construction, infrastructure or engineering industry sectors
  • Strong interpersonal skills and attitude to want to develop and make a positive impact
  • Ability to build strong partnerships across the business and engage with a range of stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes
  • Strong Excel skills, and attention to detail

Skills Required

  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance, CA/CPA or working towards it
  • Well-developed knowledge of finance activities within construction, infrastructure or engineering sectors
  • Experience with annual budgeting, business planning and strategy reporting
