At TheyDo, we’re on a mission to make the customer journey the most powerful business tool there is. We help global enterprises like Cisco, Ford, and Johnson & Johnson turn journey chaos into clarity with our leading journey management platform.

As we scale, our finance operations need the same level of clarity. That’s where you come in.

You’ll be the first in-house Management Accountant at TheyDo, taking over from an external provider. You’ll bring order to our financial processes, ensure Dutch compliance, and help the business operate with confidence.

This is a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves role. You’ll lead the day-to-day finance operations, handle Dutch compliance, and make sure the numbers are right ensuring the business continues to run smoothly.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Running month-end reporting and bookkeeping.

• Producing accurate profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.

• Managing employee expenses across multiple regions.

• Owning invoicing and collections from our customers.

• Supporting Dutch tax filings and compliance.

• Keeping our financial models accurate and useful (with leadership support).

This role is hands-on and foundational, perfect for someone excited to set up processes from scratch.

• Solid Dutch GAAP and tax experience

• A recognised accounting qualification

• 2–4 years of post-qualification experience.

• Startup/scale up experience (essential for understanding how we operate).

• Experience using NetSuite.
  

• You like building from the ground up, taking messy or undefined processes and making them clean.

• You’re happy in the grey areas. When things aren’t clear, you figure it out.

• You’re organised, pragmatic, and know how to prioritise.

• You aren’t comfortable with financial problem-solving where answers aren’t always straightforward.
