Working Pattern: Full time, hybrid working (3 days in London office, 2 days from home)

Purpose of Role
We’re recruiting for a Management Accountant! It’s a fantastic opportunity whereby you’ll be responsible for reporting on the Grayling UK entity – a leading communications agency. Working alongside the wider finance team, you’ll will provide financial support to ensure that operational and financial performance are on track to meet company strategic objectives and that reporting is meaningful and informs business decision making.
The day to day
- Management of the Grayling UK P&L and overseeing the month end process
- Preparing monthly Flash reports for Grayling UK
- Preparing and posting all standard journals in Grayling UK - recharges, rent, IT etc
- Oracle balance sheet and P&L submission onto FCCS & FTE for Grayling UK entity
- FTE and data form submission for Accordience Centre and Grayling Centre
- UK Revenue submission incl. mark-up breakdown for Grayling UK
- Working capital report for Grayling UK
- Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations for Grayling UK
- Reviewing and accounting for fixed assets
- Assisting the Group FC with ad hoc project work – IT recharges, fixed assets etc
- Preparation of PSA and other business compliance reports for Grayling UK
- Accounting and reporting for another smaller UK business unit, including cashflow forecasts, monthly analysis, revenue accounting and monthly reconciliations.
- Reviewing cashflow forecasts to ensure cash is repatriated to London at appropriate times
- Assisting the treasury manager with administrative tasks during the month
- Management of one direct report
About you
- Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong technical accounting knowledge.
- Previous month-end experience is essential, with a proven ability to work to tight deadlines while maintaining high levels of accuracy.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Proficient in financial reporting systems (experience with Oracle FCCS is a plus).
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills, particularly in balance sheet reconciliations and cashflow forecasting.
- Strong understanding of UK GAAP and compliance requirements such as PSA reporting.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with the wider finance team and business stakeholders.
- Proactive and adaptable approach, with a willingness to contribute to ad hoc project work.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
