Position Summary
Part of our management accounting team on site in our joint replacement manufacturing plant. Support other team members and areas of the business as required. Ensure compliance with internal & external controls

What you will do

Responsible for month-end close process and analysis with the management accounting teams across all sites

Responsibility for spend control process on site and support management accounting teams as required in the preparation of projections and budgets

Preparation & review of detailed balance sheet reconciliations and IPE testing on a monthly basis in line with compliance standards

Assist with preparation for internal and external audits

Partner with Business Unit Leaders / Value Stream Managers with regard to the ongoing development of their financial knowledge and the preparation of monthly financial projections

Work with the Business Units / Value Streams to ensure internal controls are working effectively

Drive and participate in cross functional and cross divisional process change and improvement initiatives in the Finance area to ensure the provision of timely and relevant information to key business owners

Drive data integrity with the Business Units / Value Streams
What you will need

Third Level qualification or equivalent
-
Qualified Professional Accounting qualification
-
2-5 Years management accounting experience in manufacturing environment

Good knowledge of ERP systems and proficient use of MS Excel

Be commercially aware and enjoy interacting with cross functional teams across an organization
-
Self-starter with demonstrated efficient work methods, analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
Able to work 1 day per week from home.
