We are looking for the Poland located Management Accountant will support the Financial Controller based in Milan in overseeing the accounting operations of the company, ensuring compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). This role involves assisting with the recording and reporting of financial transactions, contributing to the creation of monthly and annual reports, and helping maintain robust accounting and financial controls in line with statutory requirements.
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
· 1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably internationally.
· Familiarity with IFRS and basic financial statement preparation.
· Strong communication skills in English.
· Good analytical and Excel modeling skills.
· Effective time management and prioritization.
· Detail-oriented, independent, and team player.
· Knowledge of NetSuite or Tagetik is a plus.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Ensure accurate financial reporting and accounting under IFRS and local standards.
· Support Month-End Closing and business transaction postings.
· Assist with consolidations and financial statement preparation.
· Ensure data consistency and accuracy across regional reports.
· Support balance sheet reviews and data completeness.
· Collaborate with budget holders to review and compare management accounts.
· Contribute to audits and implement recommendations.
· Aid in reviewing dashboards and analyses for FX.
· Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
· Undertake ad hoc tasks and reporting related to OPEX, cost management, and governance meetings.
