We are looking for a passionate part qualified Accountant to join our growing team. Our Accounts team is based in Windsor but we have offices globally. This role will be working in the finance team assisting Senior Financial controller in all aspects of the finance lifecycle. It is a fantastic opportunity to learn alongside your studies.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
- Process invoices, receipts, and payments
- Manage credit cards
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare VAT returns
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable
- Assist in payroll processing
- Management of asset registers
- Support and assist with year-end financial audit queries
- Assist in compiling regulatory returns
- Adhere to Financial Conduct Authority Rules and Regulations
- Adhere to all internal policies and procedures
Requirements
Qualifications and Education requirements
- Proven experience in a bookkeeping or similar finance role
- Relevant undergraduate degree
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. AAT, bookkeeping certification, Part qualified ACCA, CIMA,ACA)
Skills
- Excellent written and verbal presentation skills with an extremely high attention to detail
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Time management/ability to perform under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Strong organizational, numerical, and analytical skills.
