* Job Summary
* The Managed Services Specialist, Collaboration role is pivotal in pre-sales solution design for Managed Services in the Collaboration domain. This position involves working closely with Collaboration Solutions Architects, Integrated Sales Engineers, and CDW Inside & Field Sales Professionals to strategize and organize sales approaches for modern Managed Services platforms. These platforms include Digital Experience preferred partners such as Cisco, Microsoft, RingCentral, Zoom, Five9, and others1. As a subject matter expert, the Managed Services Specialist, Collaboration will analyze solutions, customer expectations, the competitive landscape, and the customer's technical environment. This role also defines actions to be performed within the sales cycle timeframe.
* What you will do
* • Investigating clients' Collaboration and Contact Center goals to propose managed services solutions, illustrating the value and benefits of each option based on the customer's specific environment, requirements, and future needs. • Developing and maintaining strategic relationships with various stakeholders and partners to be seen as a trusted advisor and grow business. • Operating independently using standard approaches, existing tools, templates, and resources, while sharing knowledge and information that may benefit the account team and customers. Key Areas of Responsibility: Technology Leadership: • Proactively expanding technical depth in products, solutions, and services, and achieving certifications in advanced technologies as required. • Designing technical solutions using standard approaches while considering the customer's infrastructure limitations and opportunities. • Providing feedback to internal technology leaders to improve offerings, design, and delivery execution. • Conducting technology and solution training for CDW audiences using developed material. Sales: • Following up on implemented solutions and identifying new opportunities that complement completed work. • Assisting customers in understanding their managed services solutions and offering the most cost-effective approaches. • Articulating the Practice's value proposition to customers, Sales, and Partners to generate additional revenue opportunities. • Leading business-focused technology/solution presentations at CDW, Customer, and Partner events and meetings. Sales Support: • Responding to questions about Partner registrations and customer engagement history. • Writing Statements of Work and assisting with technical responses to Requests for Proposals and Information. • Maintaining pre-sales pipeline data and developing plans to move opportunities to closure.
* What we expect of you
* • Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of technical pre-sales or technical architecting experience
* OR
* • 8 years' experience of technical pre-sales or technical architecting experience. • Thorough knowledge of at least one leading Managed Services for Collaboration Partner platform. • Proven project management skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. • Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills. Obtaining and maintaining relevant industry-standard certifications and having more than four years of proven experience in Managed Services for Collaboration solutions and services is a plus.
