We’re looking for MAN Engines Specialist - Site Based in Guinea who operate, maintain and repair Aggreko HFO power plant auxiliary equipment as per work instructions in accordance with Aggreko standards

What you’ll do:
To carry out mechanical equipment maintenance as per work instruction on Aggreko equipment and OEM
To lead 16K and 32K Services
· Aggreko places a strong emphasis on health, operational safety and environmental protection. It is a requirement and moral obligation of each employee to be actively committed and accountable for compliance to the Aggreko Health, Safety & Environmental policies, operating procedures and compliance to local legislation.
Can complete major mechanical maintenance under supervision.
To carry out systematic fault finding and repairs on HFO MAN 9L 21/31 engines and TCR18 turbocharger
To carry out ‘On the Job Training’ for service crews (assistant support / assistant technicians).
To complete and maintain paper/electronic records as per site specifics
Operate the inventory and maintenance management system (M3, MMS, ATA or equivalent)
To carry out switching on Low Voltage equipment
To carry out replacement, with or without assistance, of engine components on Aggreko generators.
Adherence to 5S and QHSE standards
You’ll have the following skills and experience:
Diploma in mechanical field
Must successfully complete all assessments in compliance with mechanical technician intermediate level.
Ability to coach and mentor
Be certified as LOTO after a 6-month grace period and maintain certification throughout employment
The ability to use specialist tools and ensuring all tooling is calibrated in accordance with Aggreko standards and local legislation
Must be capable of working in a restricted space and at heights.
Ability to work autonomously when required
