Malware Researcher

What You'll Do: 

• Reverse engineer newly discovered malware samples 

• Connect findings to broader malicious campaigns and infrastructure 

• Track APT groups and document their TTPs 

• Write technical reports and publish on WeLiveSecurity.com 

• Regularly summarize your findings in Threat Intelligence reports 

• Present your research at prestigious international conferences 

• Gather intelligence from internal and open sources 

• Collaborate with law enforcement, CERTs, and victims 

What We’re Looking For: 

• Strong reverse engineering skills and understanding of assembly 

• Familiarity with malware analysis tools (IDA Pro, Kibana, YARA, etc.) 

• Solid grasp of the APT threat landscape and current trends 

• Solid written and spoken English 

• Passion for breaking things to understand how they work 

• Experience with CTFs, crackmes, or similar challenges is a plus

Tools of the Trade: 

IDA Pro, debuggers, Hiew, Kibana, Impala, MISP, YARA, SysInternals, Wireshark, Python, SQL – and powerful internal tools developed over years of research.
