Provide physical, emotional, spiritual care for assigned campers at a seasonal faith-based summer camp. Lead cabin Bible study, supervise camper conduct, attend activities and staff meetings, complete required paperwork, assist with cleaning and worship, and support overall camp policies and ministry.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:
- Fulfill the overall ministry of Grace Adventures and implement the mission of summer camps. To provide the physical, emotional, and spiritual care for campers assigned to you.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Complete the course of study during orientation and follow all camp policies
- Become familiar with the camp staff and grounds
- Keep spiritually and physically prepared to minister
- Care for the well-being of the campers ahead of your own personal desires
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain a vital personal growing relationship with Jesus Christ
- Provide an environment that is safe, positive and creative
- Care for campers physically, emotionally, spiritually, and socially
- Be responsible for the conduct of your campers and conduct behavior management based on training
- Lead cabin bible study
- Conduct one-on-ones with campers each week
- Attend all camp activities and meals
- Attend all staff meetings
- Fill out all paperwork and turn in before you are dismissed at end of week
- Support Community Worship as assigned
- Assist with accommodations: cleaning showers, bathrooms, and buildings to meet standards of excellence
- Other duties as assigned by your supervisor(s)
POSITION TYPE: Seasonal
HOUSING & MEALS: Provided throughout contract dates
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Have a personal growing relationship with Jesus Christ
- Knowledge of and love for God’s Word
- Love for kids and ability to communicate with them
- Good health and stamina as required to implement a summer camp program. This will involve long hours, sleeping in cabins with campers and lifting at times. Ability to work in various weather climates and conditions.
- Experience in teaching kids
- Willingness to participate in camp activities
- Minimum age 18 years old
- Education required: High School Degree or equivalent
