Role Overview
As a Major Account Manager for Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Owners at CoStar, you will be responsible for growing the relationships with the largest and most important Owners nationwide. You will lead the national sales strategy and goals with the objective of growing CoStar revenue while ensuring the delivery of exceptional service to our key CRE Owners nationwide.
This role will be based in one of major offices on the West Coast: Century City, Irvine, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle or Portland.
Responsibilities
Execute account strategies in partnership with the Director of Major Accounts to achieve revenue and adoption goals.
Grow a portfolio of major accounts focused on institutional owners and investors, driving product usage and revenue.
Analyze account performance and usage data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities; recommend actions to improve outcomes.
Build and maintain senior-level relationships within assigned accounts to strengthen retention and expand engagement.
Collaborate closely with Field Sales teams to implement account plans and support local offices in achieving shared objectives.
Prospect and close new opportunities within the major accounts vertical, including unsold firms on the named list.
Represent CoStar at industry events and networking forums to enhance brand presence and client relationships.
Support cross-selling initiatives and quick-win strategies to accelerate growth and build credibility within the portfolio.
Basic Qualifications
Internal applicants
- 24-months in a revenue generating role at CoStar Group consistently meeting and/or exceeding sales targets.
All applicants
- 8+ years of B2B sales experience.
- 3+ years of selling into large national accounts at the C-level.
- Bachelor’s degree required from an accredited, not-for-profit, in-person college/university.
- A track record of commitment to prior employers.
- Candidates must possess a current and valid driver’s license.
- Satisfactory completion of a Driving Record/Driving Abstract check prior to start. Driving history must reflect responsible driving behavior and compliance with traffic laws.
Preferred Qualifications
All applicants
5+ years of sales experience managing the strategy and senior level relationships with key accounts in the Commercial Real Estate industry.
Experience in the Commercial Real Estate industry selling to owners, investors, brokers.
Success in building long-term relationships and business partnerships with clients at high levels.
Ability to analyze data, build-out reporting and make strategic recommendations based on data and trends.
Superior customer service and account management skills.
Effective internal relationship building skills (superiors, peers, teams, company-wide) and externally (sales channels, customers, etc.).
Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing situations at a high growth company.

Pay Transparency
This position offers a base salary range of $95,000 - $125,000, based on relevant skills and experience, an uncapped/generous commission plan and generous benefits.
