Job Overview
The Major Account Executive, SMB Sales is a true hunter role! We're seeking highly skilled, results-oriented, and persistent sales professionals to bring our products and services to underserved markets.
This role requires meeting and exceeding monthly sales quota objectives by efficiently acquiring accounts within an assigned geographic territory. You will sell products, services, and solutions to gain new business through sophisticated prospecting, cold-calling, networking, and generating leads and referrals. You will analyze customer needs and use multifaceted solution-based selling techniques to demonstrate the value of T-Mobile products and services. Tailor customer recommendations, present, and close business deals.
This is a hybrid field sales role but the selected candidate should reside in the Indianapolois metropolitan area.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Cold Calling: Generate and work leads through prospecting, cold calling, and networking up-market.
  • Customer Needs: Identify customer needs and use solution-based selling techniques to fully demonstrate the value of T-Mobile products and services. Recommend wireless solutions with regard to price plans, data and other enhanced services, handsets, and accessories.
  • Sales Approaches: Devise creative and effective sales approaches, solutions, and proposals.
  • Deal Presentation: Present and close deals.
  • Retail Partnership: Partner proactively with Retail Stores in assigned territory to drive Business Sales results through education on Business Sales products and services and closing on Business Sales leads.
  • Sales Automation: Fully use all sales force automation, funnel management, and prospecting tools. Lead sales funnel and generate reporting on sales activities and forecasting.
  • Knowledge Update: Continuously update knowledge of products, services, industry trends, and the driven dynamics of the marketplace. Participate in training opportunities on products and services and attend sales meetings.

Education and Work Experience:

  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
  • 4-7 years - outside sales experience with confirmed history of sales achievements in a commissioned environment
  • - 2 years experience solutions/applications selling
  • - 2 years telecommunications / technical sales

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Task Management Ability to work well in a complex, constantly evolving environment that requires a high degree of multi-tasking (Required)
  • Customer Service: Validated experience delivering outstanding customer service and attention to detail (Required)
  • Communication Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills (Required)
  • Presentation: Effective presentation and closing skills, including communication, emotional intelligence, and problem-solving. (Required)
  • Proposal Writing Experience preparing, delivering, and following-up on product/service proposals and pricing quotations (Required)

    Total Target Cash Pay Range: $102,400 - $184,800, inclusive of target incentives

    Base Pay Range: $61,440 - $110,880

The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
