As a Major Account Executive (Hunter), you will be a regional expert in acquisition sales. You will be acquiring new customers directly or working with channel partners depends on the territory assignment. Success will be clearly defined and there will be room for creativity to achieve your targets.

As a Major Account Executive, you will be responsible for:

  • Utilizing marketing resources to create/manage a high-volume sales pipeline
  • Working closely with sales engineers, internal support resources and channel partners to ensure consultative engagement with prospects
  • Planning and executing Go-to-Market strategies on new customers acquisition within territory expertise
  • Recording customer development activities within a CRM to ensure operational excellence
  • Communicating effectively with all levels of prospective buyers (including executives) and internally at Akamai

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Possess relevant consultative solutions sales and new business acquisition experience
  • Have experience selling cybersecurity or cloud computing solutions
  • Develop and experience with clients in Commercial, Education, Healthcare, Retail and Digital natives will be ideal
  • Have a proven track record in over-achieving quarterly/annual quotas with enterprise level targets
  • Have high ethics, integrity, and be very self-motivated
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills and an ability to build trusting relationships with customers
  • Able to articulate fluently in Cantonese, Mandarin and English
