Description
Maintenance Technician Manager (Overnight)
Oishii is seeking a Maintenance Technician Manager (Overnight) to join us in growing the world's BEST tasting strawberries!
As an essential part of the Engineering team, Maintenance Teams ensure Oishii's innovative indoor vertical farming technologies experience 100% uptime, operate at peak efficiency, and guarantee plant and worker safety. You will be responsible for executing standard operating procedures for systems maintenance and work on broad and diverse plumbing, electrical, mechanical, electro-mechanical and automation systems. You will collaborate cross functionally with farm operations, engineering, and plant science to drive key initiatives in our new state of the art facility.
As a Maintenance Technician Manager, you will:

  • Lead and coordinate daily maintenance operations overnight.
  • Develop, implement, and refine maintenance systems & operating procedures.
  • Execute standard operating procedures for all key equipment and systems.
  • Conduct equipment repair activities and facilitate contractor support.
  • Ensure system compliance for all relevant regulatory authorities.
  • Rapidly respond to all systems-related maintenance problems
  • Support facility commissioning.
  • Document facility issues for improvement
  • Expected to understand, implement, and enforce food safety policies, including worker hygiene, sanitation, and maintaining proper documentation.
  • Additional projects as assigned.

Qualifications
Qualifications for a Maintenance Technician Manager:

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Associates Degree or equivalent in Trade / Technical Training or Degree
  • 2+ years leading teams
  • 3+ years leading projects
  • Available on at least one weekend day per week
  • Extensive electrical, plumbing, mechanical, controls, or facility maintenance experience
  • CMMS Software experience
  • Safety Certification (OSHA 10/30)
