The Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.
Responsibilities:
- 7+ years of strong mainframe experience with COBOL/JCL/CICS/VSAM/ DB2
- Strong design and development skills in the above mentioned technical stack
- Financial services domain experience
- Excellent communication, analytical skills and problem-solving experience for implementation, debugging and testing
- Work proactively & independently to address project requirements, and articulate issues/challenges with enough lead time to address project delivery risks
- Able to work as part of a virtual team in a culturally diverse background
- Good time management skills
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
