Job Summary
This position is responsible for preparing paperwork for all in-bound and out-bound shipments and outgoing mail logging for pre-sort. Responsible for opening and monitoring UPS accounts. Sort all USPS Mail according to departments and branches, Using UPS Trackpad, scan all inbound UPS/FedEx envelopes and packages. Provide support to various departments to ensure timely processing of all critical shipments. The position will also be responsible for light maintenance in the building, including moving boxes up to 40 lbs. Additionally, this position will provide support to the team by performing as acting supervisor when Mail Distribution Center Supervisor is not present.
Job Responsibilities:
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Scan into delivery mode, all UPS and FedEx envelopes and packages. Sort / track all overnight deliveries and deliver appropriately throughout Flagstar Headquarters. Assist with opening new UPS accounts and assist with the monitoring of open accounts.
- Accept and scan all deliveries from outside suppliers and vendors. Sort, deliver, and acquire a signature on all deliveries.
- Prepare all out going boxes for UPS and FedEx acceptance, which includes; weighing the shipment, create a shipping label using iSHIP, and preparing an End of Day manifest for UPS pickup.
- Act as supervisor for Mail Distribution Center Supervisor in his/her absence.
- Drive company vehicle to Post Office and local branches for deliveries as needed.
ADDITIONAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required.
- Consistently adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance trainings. Accountable to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Required Qualifications:
- Education level required: High School / High School Equivalency (GED, HiSET, TASC) / Foreign Equivalent.
- Minimum experience required: 1+ Years of mailroom experience.
