Discovery Land Company is seeking a Mailroom Supervisor to join the Residential Services Department.
The Mailroom Supervisor at The Summit Club is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the mailroom and leading a team of Mailroom Attendants. This role ensures the accurate and efficient handling of incoming and outgoing mail and packages while upholding the highest standards of service and professionalism. The Mailroom Supervisor is a hands-on leader who fosters a culture of excellence, provides training and guidance, and ensures that all mailroom operations align with the Club's commitment to exceptional member experiences.

Operational Excellence:

• Oversee all mailroom functions, including receiving, sorting, tracking, and distributing mail and packages with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and Club policies related to mail handling, storage, and distribution.
• Implement and maintain best practices for inventory management and record-keeping of delivered and outgoing items.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of special deliveries and events.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and implement innovative solutions to enhance mailroom operations.

Service Excellence:

• Maintain a member-first approach, ensuring all mailroom interactions are conducted with professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for mailroom-related inquiries, resolving issues promptly and effectively.
• Ensure the timely delivery of packages and mail to members and internal stakeholders while maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of all items.
• Uphold and model The Summit Club’s core values in every aspect of mailroom operations and guest interactions.

Administrative Duties:

• Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing mail, including special deliveries and high-value items.
• Prepare reports on mailroom activities and performance metrics for management review.
• Monitor and manage mailroom supplies and equipment to ensure operational readiness.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a mailroom, logistics, or similar operational role, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with members, staff, and vendors.
• Proficiency in mail tracking systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant mailroom software.
• Ability to lift and move packages up to 75 lbs. and stand for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a luxury residential, country club, or hospitality environment.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices related to mail and package handling.
