As a Mail Associate, you support our client by receiving and processing physical mail in a secure, highly process-driven environment. This role focuses on accuracy, confidentiality, and individual contribution, while working as part of a mid-sized, friendly team. The work is structured and predictable, with a moderate pace and opportunities to learn multiple roles through cross-training. Accuracy, organization, and confidentiality are critical in this role.
In this position, you will be cross-trained to handle a variety of mail room tasks including:
- Receive incoming mail deliveries, sort and count mail pieces, shred materials per process requirements, able to lift trays and boxes of mail
- Open mail using a slicer machine, prep documents for scanning
- Operate and monitor scanner equipment and use computer software to track and release completed files
- Review scanned documents for quality control and perform some manual data entry as needed
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a mail room or similar role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient computer skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team setting
