$18.85 - $28.30EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or GED equivalent. Previous mail services experience preferred.
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, and/or REGISTRATION: Valid applicable state driver's license required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Processes mail for distribution to box locations and delivery service locations.
2. Assists Mail Services customers. Communicates accurate information to customers regarding shipping methods and costs for sending letters and packages.
3. Ensures cross training is conducted in various work areas.
4. Maintains mailboxes, ensures mailboxes are labeled accurately, mailbox operation problems are resolved quickly, and assists customers with lock/combination difficulties.
5. Provides tracking system information.
6. Operates mail processing equipment and generates accurate mail reports.
7. Ensures accuracy of machine operations, applies appropriate postage to mail, stays up-to-date on equipment operation.
8. Maintains reliable mail delivery service, delivers mail, picks up mail and packages as assigned.
9. Ensures all Accountable Mail is delivered and all signatures are obtained.
10. Maintains supplies, inventories tickets, transit materials, etc. for re-ordering stock.

Communication skills adequate to assist customers Ability to lift moderate to heavy weight (35 lbs. to 70 lbs. or more) Adequate driving skills to operate delivery van safely
