Magnetic design engineer

Job Summary: This position is responsible for the design and verification of magnetic components used in high power density power modules (e.g. inductors and planar transformers). It requires interdisciplinary expertise in magnetic design, material science, and production feasibility. The core responsibilities include magnetic design, component verification, and electromagnetic simulation for power module products.

Essential Functions 工作职责:

1. Adopt electromagnetic simulation for the design of inductors and transformers for power modules and some discrete applications. 采用电磁仿真为电源模块以及一些分立应用场景设计电感和变压器。

2. Define magnetic component requirements from an application perspective, communicate with suppliers on MP feasibility, and collaborate to resolve manufacturing issues. 从应用角度提出磁元件的技术要求,与供应商沟通量产可行性,并协作解决生产环节的相关问题。

3. Conduct performance testing and some defect analysis for magnetic components, and optimize product design based on test and simulation results. 开展磁元件的性能测试与一些缺陷分析,根据测试与仿真结果优化产品设计。

4. Establish and update design rules for magnetic components, and accumulate relevant design and simulation data. 制定并更新磁元件设计规范,积累相关设计及仿真数据。

 

Qualifications岗位要求:

1. Master’s degree in material science or electrical engineering or equivalent qualification, with 2+ years of relevant work experience in power module or magnetic component design. 材料科学/电气工程专业硕士或等效学历, 具备2年以上电源模块或磁元件设计相关工作经验。

2. Proficiency in the design of inductors/ planar transformers, with the ability to judge manufacturing and process feasibility. 精通电感/变压器设计,具备生产及工艺可行性判断能力。

3. Skilled in using relevant electromagnetic simulation and modeling software, Maxwell experience is a plus. 熟练使用相关电磁仿真和建模软件,有Maxwell使用经验者优先。

4. Agile thinking, with the ability to think outside the box and propose flexible, diversified solutions. 思维敏捷,具备创新思维,能提出灵活、多元的解决方案。

5. Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills. 具备优秀的沟通、文本撰写及汇报表达能力.
