Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for a Machinist to join our team in North Mankato, MN in a maintenance and job shop setting. Machining ranges from basic repairs to manufacturing jigs and fixtures as well as components used to construct custom automated equipment.
Your Responsibilities:
Operate lathe and milling machines, both manual and CNC
Operate other typical machine shop equipment
Be involved in fabrication, installation, and/or repair of mechanical devices
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed
Performs other duties as designated by leadership
Working knowledge of G-code and conversational programming
Working knowledge of typical measurement tools
Ability to interpret engineering drawings
Experience with Mazatrol, Milltronics, and Trak controls a plus
CAD/CAM experience a plus
Will work collaboratively with the Mechanical/Automation Engineering team
Will work cross functionally with other departments
Your Shift:
Monday - Thursday or Tuesday - Friday 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM CST
You Must Have:
Vocational school degree or equivalent
Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field
Strong mechanical aptitude
A hands-on attitude
5+ years of machining experience (preferred non-production environment)
The anticipated hourly range for this position is $24.00 -$28.00. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation’s total compensation and benefits package for employees.
