Job Summary
The Machinist – Level III is responsible for analyzing, setting up, and manufacturing complex components using a variety of machine tools and equipment. This role requires strong technical expertise, the ability to work independently, and the capability to coach and guide less experienced team members. The position emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE)
- Identify and stop unsafe work; report hazards, incidents, and injuries immediately
- Adhere to all HSE policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
- Promote a culture of safety and interdependence within the team
- Minimize environmental impact through responsible work practices
- Participate in HSE training and continuous safety improvement initiatives
Quality
- Apply high standards of workmanship and craftsmanship
- Perform quality inspections and ensure adherence to process documentation
- Support equipment uptime and contribute to failure analysis

Delivery / Operations
- Set up and operate machine tools including lathes, milling machines, grinders, shapers, and CNC equipment

- Perform preventive, corrective, predictive, and emergency maintenance activities
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Identify manufacturing constraints and support process improvements
- Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities aligned with production needs
- Coach and support team members; act as an informal technical resource
