As a Machinist Level 1 here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machining equipment to produce high-quality parts according to specifications. You will work closely with the production team to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety and quality standards.

You will report directly to our Supervisor and you’ll work out of our Muncie, IN location on an On-site work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the overall manufacturing process by contributing to the production of precision components that meet customer requirements and support Honeywell’s commitment to quality and reliability.




Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate machining equipment such as lathes, mills, and grinders to produce parts according to engineering drawings and specifications
  • Perform routine inspections and measurements to ensure parts meet quality standards
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and reporting any issues promptly
Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Minimum of 1 year experience with operating machining equipment and understanding of machining processes
  • Knowledge of reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
  • Familiarity with quality control techniques and measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to follow safety procedures strictly
