  • Maintain tight tolerances while producing high-quality finished components.
  • Assist with machining operations on mills, keyseaters, drill presses, and other manual equipment as workload requires.
  • Safely move and position large workpieces using overhead cranes and lifting equipment.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards before releasing to the next operation.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while supporting the facility's 5S initiatives.

  • Work closely with Manufacturing Coordinators, Engineering, Welding, and Assembly to support customer delivery commitments.

  • Experience holding precision tolerances on large machined components.
  • Ability to use precision measuring instruments with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Experience safely operating overhead cranes and rigging equipment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Journeyman Machinist certification or equivalent experience.

Physical Requirements
  • Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements throughout the workday.
  • Safely handle large and heavy workpieces using overhead cranes and lifting equipment.
  • Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, metal chips, coolants, and varying temperatures.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, steel-toe footwear, hearing protection, and other required safety equipment.
