- Act as liaison and primary contact person for all shifts of the manufacturing operations.
- Provide leadership and direction for shift manufacturing employees as directed by management and in accordance with Neogen policies.
- Manufacture, package and label products according to approved batch records.
- Provide preliminary review and oversight for documentation to ensure compliance with internal requirements and procedures.
- Operate material handling equipment including but not limited to forklifts, pallet jacks and barrel handlers.
- Provide input to the continuous development and maintenance of the production schedule.
- Provide documented training and guidance for manufacturing personnel as needed.
- Assist with maintaining organization of warehouse including inventory control.
- Assist and lead the cleaning of manufacturing equipment and manufacturing areas.
- Assist with identifying areas to improve efficiency.
- Follow written procedures and maintain all required regulatory compliance.
- Maintain manufacturing equipment.
- Participate in physical inventories.
- Assist with cleaning of general areas of warehouse.
- Record data and information as requested by management, including but not limited to time tracking and production metrics.
- Have a strong understanding of all manufacturing equipment and processes.
- Provide assistance and leadership for other projects and duties as assigned by manufacturing management.
