JOB DETAILS
Base pay starts at $19.00 per hour
Day Shift: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up and operate heavy machinery and related gauges to perform various cutting, punching, forming, blocking, and processing operations
- Knowledge of production techniques and have the ability to produce quality-building parts
- Knows and understands all safety rules and precautions necessary for working in and about a manufacturing environment
- Ability to operate computerized equipment and material handling equipment
- Perform routine preventive maintenance, adjustments, and lubrication on equipment and production tools as required to maintain proper operation
- Mark part number, order number, number of pieces on parts. Attach identification tags as required for customer to have the ability to locate correct parts
- Interpret blueprints, specifications, and other technical data and select correct raw material or semi-finished parts
- Maintains continuous improvement practices in work area
- Standing and walking 8-12 hrs. every day
- Repetitive material handling. Some in awkward body positioning
- Repetitive climbing on and off of equipment and ladders
- Varying and extreme working conditions inside and outside (Hot, Cold, Rain, Shine)
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- A minimum of one year of related work experience in manufacturing or comparable work environment
- Good Communication Skills
- Basic Computer Skills
- Experience with hand tools, wrenches, banding equipment and nail guns
- Able to use of measuring gauges
- Able to read a tape measure
- Forklift experience a plus / Must be trainable on forklift
- Crane experience a plus / Must be trainable on crane
- Flexible with working overtime and weekends when needed
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist

This is a position with the potential overtime. The shifts are 8 hours, 10 hours, and 12 hours long depending on work orders for the day and season of the year.
