How you will contribute

Valmont is currently seeking a highly motivated and talented individual for the Light Pole Assembly position in the Light Pole Department. We are looking for a highly driven individual that will maintain and operate pole machinery according to orders in a safe and efficient manner. Additionally, you will…

  •  To operate a workstation in the assembly department.

    This may be one workstation on a regular basis or

    Any workstation on an “as needed basis”.

  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Maintain and operate machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Ensure that the pole style and shop orders match.
  • Ensure all daily and weekly paperwork is completed and turned in.

Ensure housekeeping is in order and meets all DHEC and OSHA requirements

What it takes

Required Qualifications

  • Must be able to read and comprehend prints
  • Must be able to read tape measure
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands; talk; hear; stand and walk
  •  Ability to lift up to 50lbs without assistance

Highly qualified candidates will also possess:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Must be a person of passion and integrity who has the drive to excel and deliver exceptional results
