About the Role:
Our machine learning and algorithm team is at the forefront of innovation, transforming buildings into intuitive spaces that understand human presence through smart, privacy-preserving sensors. We're dedicated to crafting solutions that make every space more welcoming and comfortable.
As an ML engineer, you'll be a key player in shaping the future of smart buildings. Collaborating with designers, product managers, and hardware engineers, you'll develop cutting-edge detection and tracking solutions for low-power devices. Your work will generate the vital insights and data that power smart building APIs worldwide, defining what's possible for spaces everywhere.
Requirements:
- MS/PhD in machine learning, computer science, STEM, or related fields.
- 3+ years of experience working on image processing and computer vision, with experiences in pose estimation, action recognition, and tracking
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Familiarity with production ML systems on the edge and the cloud
- Experiences working with large scale ML systems spanning cloud and edge devices
- Experiences with model building, both in deep learning and classical statistical modeling
- Experiences in computational photography and performance tuning are a plus
- Experience with OpenCV, PyTorch, NumPy
- Experiences with C++ a plus
- Strong scientific communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Develop next generation privacy preserving algorithms using novel IoT sensors.
- Develop detection systems to generate signal useful for building insights, enabling our vision of smart buildings
- Develop and build next-gen novel techniques and models to enable assistive technologies that empower those with special needs
- Work with product to develop data products
Salary: $140k - $180k based on experience
