Job Description:
Roles/Responsibility specifics:- This position is in Pune, India.
- The candidate will be involved in driving technical strategy and architecture for firmware systems.
- The candidate will lead complex design and integration efforts across multiple projects.
- The candidate will act as a technical mentor to junior and senior engineers
- The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, software, product) to deliver integrated solutions.
- The candidate will actively participate in Code Reviews to ensure code quality.
- The candidate will ensure scalability, reliability and performance at a system level.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- 15+ years of experience in firmware development for embedded systems.
- Expertise in programming languages such as C/C++.
- Strong background in RTOS and system-level design.
- Experience in hardware-software co-design.
- Demonstrated ability in performance optimization at scale.
- Python programming
- Experience with ARM/RISC-V architectures, FPGA, microcontrollers.
- Familiarity with I2C, SPI, UART, PCIe, MIPI interfaces.
- Knowledge of digital design, CMOS technology, basic electronics
- Prior experience in technical leadership or project ownership.

Skills Required
- 15+ years of deep expertise in edge AI with history of shaping company- or industry-level technical directions
- Demonstrated company-wide impact in efficient neural networks across diverse hardware
- World-class mastery of deep learning frameworks, model optimization, and edge deployment ecosystems (including ONNX Runtime)
- Pioneering expertise in extreme efficiency techniques and hardware/ML co-design for FPGAs and NPUs
- Track record of full-stack leadership on complex edge AI systems (Lattice FPGAs, NXP NPUs/custom accelerators)
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders, define strategy, and drive ambiguous, cross-organizational initiatives
- Experience with hardware-aware NAS, quantization, dynamic/sparse inference, and automated co-design flows for multi-platform deployment
- Proven mentorship of staff and senior ML engineers
- PhD in CS, EE, AI/ML or equivalent with significant research/industry contributions
- Successful background and reference checks and satisfactory proof of right to work in India
