Job Description

  • Lead the development and implementation of advanced connectivity solutions for our machinery.
  • Innovate new concepts to optimize connectivity and drive operational excellence.
  • Ensure the seamless integration of machines for our Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
  • Lead the configuration and implementation of state-of-the-art IT architecture and solutions.
  • Collaborate on hardware/software procurement and installation to bring connectivity solutions to life.
  • Oversee maintenance and improvement projects to continuously enhance our connectivity systems.
  • Utilize data mining to provide valuable insights and support to all departments after SOP.
  • Coordination of maintenance and improvement activities/projects of i4.0 systems after SOP.
  • Operate the machine connectivity tasks within worldwide Rexroth plants.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in related engineering fields.
  • A passion for innovation and a drive to push the boundaries of machine connectivity.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing advanced connectivity solutions.
  • Experience in NC control systems.
  • Excellent knowledge about Control Systems of Siemens, Rexroth, Opcon, Mitsubishi, Fanuc, etc.
  • Good knowledge about SQL or relational databases.
  • Node-red and Grafana knowledge will be a plus.
  • Experience with MES systems.
  • Experience in analyzing, resolving and troubleshooting connectivity and data collection issues.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, with a results-oriented approach.
  • A proactive problem-solving attitude.
  • Experience in implementation of I4.0 solutions and data mining projects.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English, preferably also in German.
  • Willingness to work in an international and intercultural environment.
  • Able to travel abroad.
