ESSENTIAL FUNCTION PERFORMED
1. Analyzes the results offered by tender alert services to ascertain if tender applies to Merit Medical products.
2. Trains the team on new processes/developments within the tender/contract management business.
3. Assists with establishing and defining tender/contract strategies.
4. Prepares the application documents to get the official tender/pre-qualification document/Express Interest in Tender via web portal/e-mail when necessary.
5. Completes the tender by preparing or arranging the requested documents and assuring that all is in accordance with the tender requirements.
6. Coordinates the pricing schedules with Sales department needed for tender submission.
7. Administers awarded tenders in the Oracle data-base to ensure that Customer Service can adhere to tender requirements.
8. Submits and maintains E-catalogs and product classifications.
9. Posts contract award analysis.
10. Provides the appropriate authority with usage information on contract when needed.
11. Updates and maintains electronic catalogue.
12. Works with departments such as: Regulatory, Legal and HR to ensure all the necessary documents for tender submissions are accurate and complete.
13. Uploads and maintains contract price lists.
14. Performs back-up customer service responsibilities.
15. Provides support where needed to other team members.
16. Performs other duties and tasks as required.

SUMMARY OF MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Education and/or experience equivalent to an Associate’s Degree.
• Four years of tender/contract experience.
• Demonstrated computer skills preferably spreadsheets, word processing, database and other applicable software programs.
• Excellent analytical skills, with ability to understand financial impact of decisions.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented and excellent time/project management skills.
• Results-oriented, with ability to work effectively in a matrix environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well--verbally and in writing--with others.
• Fluent in the language applicable to the region, both written and verbally.

COMMENTS
