THE ROLE

As Indie Campers M&A Senior Specialist you’ll be responsible for identifying and evaluating Merger and Acquisition opportunities, conducting financial modeling and due diligence, together with leading the M&A process, providing strategic insights to senior management.

You will be joining our CEO Office team in our Lisbon HQ Office, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and working closely with his Chief of Staff.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

  • Identify, screen, and evaluate M&A opportunities, conducting comprehensive financial modelling, valuation analyses, and due diligence to assess transaction viability.
  • Lead the M&A process by partnering with key stakeholders, creating investor materials, and managing the approval process for executive-level deals.
  • Conduct in-depth market analysis and pre- and post-transaction evaluations, providing regular updates to senior management on ongoing deal status and strategic initiatives.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in M&A, leveraging industry knowledge to enhance execution and capital raising capabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with budgets, forecasts, and overall strategic objectives.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. MBA or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CMA) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in M&A, investment banking, or corporate finance.
  • Experience in the travel, tourism, or automotive rental sectors is preferred, with a strong understanding of market dynamics and trends.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling, valuation techniques, and conducting due diligence.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and prepare detailed reports.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset, able to navigate challenges and make data-driven decisions.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory.
