We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced Cybersecurity Technical Program Manager with Merger, Acquisition, Divestiture & Outsourcing (MADO) experience to join our Cybersecurity team. About the role 

In this role, you will lead and oversee complex cybersecurity initiatives related to mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and outsourcing activities. This position requires strategic vision, strong cybersecurity awareness, and exceptional leadership to ensure risk management and compliance throughout all phases of large-scale programs. The individual must collaborate effectively with IT teams and business units to align security objectives with organizational goals. 

About You 

You are a seasoned leader who thrives on managing complexity and driving results in high-stakes environments. You bring deep experience in large-scale, multi-phase projects and have successfully led Merger, Acquisition, Divestiture & Outsourcing (MADO) integrations from strategy through execution. 

Your experience with integrations will be critical. Strong communication skills are essential, enabling you to explain complex technical issues to non-technical audiences. 

You will be responsible for 

  • Leading large, complex cybersecurity programs, including mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures from due diligence and strategic planning through execution and close-out, ensuring security posture alignment and regulatory compliance. 

  • Directing cross-functional teams—technical and business—to achieve program goals, managing scope, changes, risks, and issues effectively, with a strong emphasis on cybersecurity risk mitigation. 

  • Developing and executing comprehensive project plans to deliver agreed objectives within specified timeframes while embedding cybersecurity controls and best practices. 

  • Managing end-to-end vendor engagement, including drafting statements of work, onboarding/offboarding contractors, and overseeing deliverable execution with strict adherence to security standards. 

  • Collaborating with IT and business units to integrate security requirements into operational processes and ensure seamless execution of program objectives. 

  • Working with finance and functional leaders to create program budgets, monitor performance against plan, and analyze/report progress toward financial and cybersecurity targets. 

  • Communicating program status, challenges, and support needs clearly and effectively across all organizational levels, including senior leadership, highlighting cybersecurity risks and remediation strategies. 

 

Education & Experience Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience desired. 

  • 10 years of experience with MADO,

  • Proven track record managing mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and outsourcing initiatives. 

  • Basic understanding of security principles, risk management, and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, GDRP). 

  • Ability to identify and mitigate cybersecurity risks during integration and separation activities. 

  • Certifications: The following certifications are desired. CISSP, CISM, PMP, or PgMP .
