Job Description:

Job Purpose/OverviewWith a mission to deliver best-in-class Finance technology capabilities as accelerators and enablers of growth, the Mars Corporate Finance Technology (FinTech) organization plays a critical role in delivering the Enterprise Digital Transformation agenda for Mars. As a member of the Finance, Strategy and Operations team within FinTech, the M&A Integration & Transformation Manager will support the assessment of newly acquired business system ecosystems & enable the integration strategy. This individual will be key for enabling a seamless transition of systems during M&A integrations and structural reorganizations, optimizing operational efficiency, and further evolving the future of the digital Finance systems.Context and ScopeThe M&A Integration & Transformation Manager will play a key role in delivering seamless financial integrations across global acquisitions, divestitures, and reorganizations. This role will support the execution of critical intake activities, drive reporting and CoA alignment, and lead key system readiness milestones across acquired units.Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders—including FinTech, Corporate Development, DT Finance, and business unit teams—the Manager will help ensure integrations are executed with precision while building toward longer-term ERP and OneStream readiness goals.Key responsibilitiesResponsibilities for the M&A Integration & Transformation Manager include, but are not limited to:Execution of Current M&A Integrations
  • Partner with FinTech and DT stakeholders on pipeline assessments and technical due diligence while aligning integration efforts with compliance, reporting, and controllership requirements
  • Support system design readiness and unit testing by partnering with the newly acquired business and regional finance teams for UAT coordination and 'mock' submission cycles across acquired units
  • Support financial data validation, remediation tracking, issue resolution while also influencing integration strategy, maintaining governance and driving change management across multiple concurrent integrations
  • Partner with FinTech COEs (e.g., Management Reporting, Master Data) to align integrations to Mars standards
  • Partner with Data Champions and Business Unit Finance Teams to align Unit/Entity (One Corporate Data) structuring, Brand/Category setup, KPI alignment, and initial Periodic Close support/nurturing
  • Ensure accurate tracking of inorganic vs. organic growth and NCFO reclasses
Strategic Support & Long-Term Readiness
  • Serve as the bridge between M&A FinTech and the Finance Master Data Governance Team (FMDGT), ensuring integration design decisions align with Mars’ enterprise data model and SAP S/4HANA standards, and are translated into compliant master data setups within the Digital Core governance framework
  • Partner with Intake and Portfolio Management to support ERP transition planning and early-stage data harmonization activities (SAP S/4HANA and Central Finance)
  • Drive consolidation- and CFIN-level Chart of Accounts (CoA) mapping for Year 2/Year 3 system integrations
  • Partner with Corporate Development and FinTech to evolve the integration playbook & build strategic capabilities, while maintaining strong documentation & sharing lessons learned to continuously refine integration best practices
Job Specifications/Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field
  • 4–6 years of experience in financial systems, corporate finance, or M&A integration
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, including General Ledger (GL) Master Data and financial reporting structures
  • Experience with consolidated and SAP Chart of Accounts (CoA) mapping and governance
  • Familiarity with ERP and financial data transformation in the context of acquisitions
  • Proven ability to work across business functions, translate financial integration decisions into system design, and operate within governance frameworks
  • Exceptional project management, communication, and analytical skills
  • Ability to operate in high-confidentiality, fast-paced environments with evolving priorities

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, if eligible, including variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits.  Eligibility for these additional elements depend on the position offered and the employee’s work schedule (i.e., part-time schedule, store associate).  Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.
