Role Summary
As a Strategic M&A Integration Lead, you will manage overall integration efforts, ensuring all workstreams remain aligned with business decisions. You will act as a primary liaison between business owners and cross-functional teams, translating high-level strategy into operational reality for customers and vendors. Beyond managing the current deal, you will partner with functional leaders to codify best practices into a repeatable M&A playbook. We are seeking a proactive, intellectually curious leader who can drive accountability across the organization while maintaining a clear view of how individual tasks connect to the broader strategic "forest".
Role Responsibilities
- Drive Program Accountability: You will lead the overall integration program, establishing a cadence for status updates, tracking milestones, and ensuring all cross-functional leads are held accountable for their deliverables.
- Develop M&A Playbooks: You will partner with functional teams (GTM, Finance, People, etc.) to capture lessons learned and build a repeatable M&A integration playbook, ensuring the organization matures with every deal.
- Translate Strategy into Plans: You will convert complex business decisions into actionable, cross-functional support plans that protect customer and vendor stability throughout the integration process.
- Orchestrate Cross-Functional Alignment: You will facilitate regular synchronization meetings across cross-functional teams to identify dependencies and ensure no department operates in a vacuum.
- Synthesize Executive Reporting: You are responsible for distilling project updates from various workstreams into clear, strategic insights for C-suite stakeholders, highlighting risks and required decisions.

- You possess a demonstrated ability to translate abstract strategy into detailed, cross-functional project plans that have successfully guided teams through change.
- You have a proven track record of driving alignment between teams to solve typical M&A friction points.
- You must exhibit high business acumen and critical thinking skills, specifically the ability to connect disparate "dots" across an organization.
- You are required to have expert-level soft skills and the ability to influence without formal authority to gain cross-functional buy-in.
- You must be curious and willing to "dig in" further to understand root causes rather than just managing a high-level status report.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience leading Quote to Cash (Q2C) or Procure to Pay (P2P) initiatives, especially during organizational transitions.
- A background in Computer Science or a technical field to speak the same language as business stakeholders.
