The Role

About This Role

                                                                                                         

CAE Parc Airline Technical Services Department provides comprehensive technical management support and solutions for airlines. As an Airworthiness Specialist, your role will involve offering expert advice and providing solutions to clients. You will also be responsible for managing projects and optimizing maintenance operations in alignment with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice and solutions regarding M&E Systems. Prepare, develop, and actively participate in the execution of projects to implement these solutions.
  • Lead and participate in transition projects between different M&E systems to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Identify and analyze potential commercial needs and opportunities within the M&E environment to support business growth and client satisfaction.
  • Liaise with other CAE ATSS departments for A/C Data import processes.
  • Manage projects to ensure timely and efficient completion, meeting client requirements and ensuring maintenance operations and projects adhere to relevant aviation regulations and standards.
  • Optimize maintenance operations to enhance efficiency and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation and reports for all projects and operations.
  • Conduct training sessions for internal teams, as required, to improve understanding and implementation of M&E systems.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Executing various projects as assigned by the Standards Leader.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 10 years+ in senior technical roles in Airline’s Technical Services, CAMO or Maintenance Organizations.
  • Technical Knowledge of Boeing or Airbus fleet.
  • Knowledge of Regulations (EC) No. 2018/1139, (EU) No. 748/2012, (EU) No. 1321/2014, and (EU) No. 965/2012 and related regulations and procedures.
  • Experience working with different M&E Systems (TRAX, eMRO, AMOS, OASES ...)
  • Excellent English
  • Ability to simplify complex processes and write procedures
  • Ability to communicate data / KPI based results.
  • Ability to manage different projects.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Airbus and Boeing Gen Fam Courses.
  • Familiarity with SQL and data processes such as database management, system integration, and troubleshooting will be valued.
  • Self-motivated and efficient either individually or as part of a team.
  • Willing to travel when required.
  • Flexible approach to work.
  • Excellent communication skills with experience writing or reviewing technical instructions.
  • Computer literate with strong working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint.
  • Proven organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities at one time and make decisions in a busy, fast-paced environment.
  • Willing to learn new technical knowledge and adapt those new concepts to business solutions.
