Shift: AM 6:30am-3:00PM (set schedule: Thursday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday)

From $39-$40/hr

Position Overview: We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to join our team. The LVN will play a critical role in providing direct patient care and support to our residents under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare setting and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring vital signs.
  • Collaborate with registered nurses and other healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
  • Document patient information, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes, accurately and timely in electronic medical records.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members to provide updates on patient status and address any concerns or questions.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary care conferences and contribute to care planning and coordination.
  • Adhere to all facility policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations governing nursing practice.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment and ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, empathy, and respect in all interactions with residents, families, and colleagues.

Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in the state of California.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in long-term care or skilled nursing.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents and families.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care, with a commitment to promoting dignity and independence.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
