Stevenson Oaks is looking for Licensed Vocation Nurses (LVN) who thrive in a positive team environment.  We pride ourselves on treating residents the way we'd like to be treated.  If you can commit to ICARE values of Integrity, Compassion, Accountability Respect and Excellence, we'd love to hear from you!


We are currently seeking a LVN to:

  • direct and coordinate activities of aides
  • perform basic daily nursing functions
  • issue proper medications
  • meet the nursing needs of our residents in an efficient, economical, and caring manner- while maintaining high standards and quality care

Qualifications

Required Education/Certification/Licensure:

  • Graduation from an accredited vocational school of nursing and current Texas LVN license required.

Training and Experience:

  • Knowledgeable of human development, including the processes of aging, and of social and health problems confronting older persons.
  • Models a service attitude toward others, takes ownership in solving problems and takes the initiative to make things better, is friendly and courteous to residents, families and coworkers.
  • Models MRCs ICARE Values of Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect and Excellence
  • Communicate professionally, respectfully and tactfully in all situations.

Skills Required

  • Graduation from an accredited vocational school of nursing
  • Current Texas LVN license
  • Ability to administer/issue medications
  • Ability to direct and coordinate activities of aides
  • Knowledge of human development and aging processes
  • Professional, respectful, and tactful communication
