We are currently seeking experienced Level III Rope Access NDT Technicians for full-time work in Jacksonville, Florida. Candidates must be local to the Jacksonville area, as no relocation assistance is available for this position.

Position Summary

The Level III Rope Access NDT Technician will perform nondestructive testing inspections while utilizing rope access techniques in industrial environments. This position requires strong technical expertise, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work at heights and in challenging environments while maintaining compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform rope access NDT inspections in accordance with applicable procedures, codes, and standards
  • Conduct inspections using methods such as UT, MT, PT, VT, and other applicable NDT techniques
  • Set up, calibrate, and maintain NDT equipment
  • Interpret and evaluate inspection results accurately
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports and documentation
  • Follow all rope access safety procedures and site-specific requirements
  • Perform work at heights, in confined spaces, and industrial environments
  • Assist with planning and execution of rope access inspection projects
  • Maintain certifications, inspection records, and safety documentation
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and team members
  • Work overtime, weekends, and varying shifts as project demands require
Qualifications
  • Current SPRAT or IRATA Level III certification required
  • Previous rope access NDT experience required
  • Current Level II or Level III NDT certifications preferred
  • Strong understanding of industrial inspection and safety procedures
  • Ability to read and interpret codes, standards, and technical documents
  • Ability to work independently and lead rope access teams when necessary
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Additional certifications in UT, MT, PT, VT, RT, PAUT, or TOFD preferred
  • TWIC card and OSHA certifications are a plus
  • Experience in refinery, marine, petrochemical, power generation, or industrial environments preferred
