Summary:
Position is responsible for lubricating the machines and equipment, adhering to prescribed schedules and lubricating specifications. Installs, fabricates and maintains lubrication lines and systems.
Essential Functions:
- Lubricates bearings, gears, cylinders, shafts, sprockets, slides, and other moving parts and wearing surfaces of machines and equipment following established practices and prescribed schedules.
- Follows lubrication drawings and machine specifications, installing and maintaining grease fittings, lubrication lines and systems. Repairs and maintains oil pumps and dispensing units as required.
- Uses crescent and pipe wrenches, hammer, chisel, center puncher, drills, saws, cutters, and other tools in performing assigned duties.
- Capable of performing work as described in the IAMAW labor agreement under the Lubricator training program.

Preferred Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of Lubricator training program or 3-5 years previous experience in industrial lubrication and fluid power is required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Skills Required
- Completion of Lubricator training program or 3-5 years previous experience in industrial lubrication and fluid power
- Capable of performing work as described in the IAMAW Lubricator training program
- Experience installing and maintaining grease fittings, lubrication lines and systems, and repairing oil pumps/dispensing units
- Experience using hand tools (crescent and pipe wrenches, hammer, chisel, center punch, drills, saws, cutters)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
