Jeff Wyler Fairfield Auto Mall is seeking a motivated, dependable, and customer-focused Lube Technician to join our award-winning service team. This position is ideal for individuals who take pride in delivering quality work, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and providing exceptional service to every customer. As a Lube Technician, you will perform routine vehicle maintenance while identifying additional service needs and supporting our technicians in delivering an outstanding ownership experience.
Responsibilities- Perform oil and filter changes according to manufacturer specifications.
- Rotate and balance tires.
- Inspect and top off all vehicle fluids.
- Perform multi-point vehicle inspections and accurately document findings.
- Check and replace air filters, cabin filters, windshield wipers, and light bulbs as needed.
- Inspect brakes, tires, batteries, belts, hoses, and suspension components for wear.
- Maintain accurate repair orders and inspection reports.
- Recommend maintenance services based on inspection results.
- Ensure vehicles are clean and protected while in the service department.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all dealership, manufacturer, and OSHA safety standards.
- Assist technicians and service advisors as needed.
- Participate in ongoing training and career development opportunities.
Technicians are expected to provide and maintain their own basic hand tools required to perform routine maintenance services. Specialty tools and dealership-provided equipment will be supplied by Jeff Wyler Fairfield Auto Mall.
