This is an opportunity to join the Low Tier Air & Missile Defense Systems (LTAMDS) finance team within the LADS (Land & Air Defense Systems) Sub-Business Unit as an Operations and/or Supply Chain Finance Manager supporting a growing development portfolio for LTAMDS and its variants with cross-SSBU exposure and coordination.

The ideal candidate will ensure they provide accurate and insightful management analysis with recommendations enabling the programs to execute according to our cost and schedule baseline, while maximizing financial objectives for the company and its shareholders.

This position is uniquely able to give a wide sampling and vast exposure to potential assignments within Finance and Business ranging from Program Cost and Control, Proposals and Estimating, Financial Planning and Analysis, to Budgets and Planning. 

What You Will Do

  • Be the lead guiding multiple junior analysts in continued process improvement, reporting efficiencies and product quality 
  • Meet critical deadlines while managing multiple conflicting priorities 
  • Use strong analytical abilities to understand data quickly in order to make informed business decisions 
  • Exhibit financial independence, possess high business acumen and exhibit robust analysis within the LTAMDS Radar Development programs portfolio 
  • Interpret and ensure implementation of Raytheon Financial Policies and Procedures to program personnel as part of their daily/weekly communications 
  • Support the creation of Estimate at Complete (EACs) on a quarterly basis including costs, risks and opportunities at the Program/Mission Area Level.
  • Perform detailed financial analysis for both total program and mission area cost elements to help define and understand the monthly variances to Budget baseline and EAC positions.
  • Prepare program financial forecasts, monitor actual costs, and explain variances to plans and forecasts.
  • Support the preparation of cost estimates for new business proposals and assist Estimating and Program Analysts in developing rationale for basis of estimates.
  • Development and maintenance of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) in APEX/SAP
    Budget preparation and maintenance.
  • Monthly Earned Value reporting in compliance with DFARs and in accordance with the Raytheon 10255 policy. This includes monthly Latest Revised Estimates (LREs), Budget Change Requests (BCRs) and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) updates.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
  • Experience in program controls and Earned Value Management Systems
  • Experience with financial systems (SAP, APEX, AO) or similar processes 
  • Experience in SAP, PRISM, Business Warehouse, and Microsoft Office

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
